Our History
Chartered in 1905, First State Bank is the oldest state bank in Texas. Our first location was in Gainesville, Texas and, even though we no longer occupy the original site, we still have two Gainesville locations and 12 additional locations spanning throughout the Central and North Texas counties of Collin, Cooke, Denton, Grayson, McLennan, Montague and Wise. Combining the friendly customer service of hometown banking with innovation and technology, we bring you a legacy of banking experience
