Steven Sims

Steven Sims serves as Regional President for Cooke, Montague and Wise counties, with 34 years of experience in banking and a focus on commercial and real estate business development. In his current role, Steven leads the lending teams in Cooke, Montague, and Wise County, managing key relationships and driving business growth in those markets. His expertise lies in fostering commercial business development, primarily in real estate, as well as managing commercial and industrial relationships and products.

Steven’s approach to customer service is rooted in understanding his clients' businesses thoroughly before recommending any bank products. He takes the time to ask the right questions to ensure that the financial solutions he provides are well-aligned with each customer's unique needs.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of North Texas in Denton. He is also actively involved in his community, having served on various boards, including the United Way, Kiwanis, Boys and Girls Club, Lions Club (Sanger), EDC (The Colony), and Rotary (The Colony), demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time with his family, including his twin sons and his wonderful wife, who are the center of his life. He also loves golfing, fishing, hiking, and exploring his passion for history. Additionally, his border collie holds a very special place in his heart as a close second to his family.

A fun fact about Steven is that his twin sons and family are his greatest source of joy, and he cherishes every moment with them while balancing work and his love for the outdoors.
